The second annual MACC Charities - Fashion for Good was held Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the beautiful Cheney Hall Theatre in Manchester.  What a great time we had at this sell-out event!!!  The event raised nearly $9,000!

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Attractive fashions by Coldwater Creek of Evergreen Walk were modeled by women of all ages.

Susan Christensen, Anchor, Fox News 61 was our informative, personable and entertaining Emcee.

Our audience was on the edge of their seats in the segment where  nationally known stylist, Claudette Fried  used Beth Stafford, Executive Director of MACC,  to demonstrate
first hand practical advice on age appropriate fashion, style and make-up.

Again, the teenagers put together great vintage and modern outfits from MACC's own Church Mouse Thrift Shoppe.  Their sense of style was fun!  See the photo gallery for more outfits.

Our guests visited the showcase tables of several make-up artists, sampled a catering company's goodies and learned about products for women with cancer.  They also sampled the wonderful refreshments - thanks to those who baked & donated the goodies.    

MORE HIGHLIGHTS

HomeStyle Living provided wonderful contemporary clothes in their segment along with interesting jewelry that enhanced each outfit. 

Music by After Hours DJ's.  DJ John Leary
was our great announcer who made drawing for 40 door prizes and 31 beautiful gift baskets and gift certificates more fun. 

The winners were quite happy with their prizes!  Again thanks to our sponsors!   We raised over $2,100 in the silent auction generating a $2,000 match from our Citizens Bank Foundation grant.  Yippee!!

The floral arrangements by Andree's Creations were stunning.

Woodland Gardens loaned us the beautiful ferns, shrimp plants, mums and other greenery to enhance the entrance and the stage.  It was beautiful!

lia sophia's jewelry accessorized our teens and the lia sophia showcase allowed attendees to see the variety of jewelry they offer.
